Welcome to Chess City

When the ancient form of chess, Chaturanga, was being played in Persia, mankind had been living in cities in Mesopotamia for thousands of years. Early humans joined together in communities for a common purpose safe place where its members could exchange goods and ideas. The purpose of Chess City is to collect a number of lessons scattered in different chess sites on the net around a common theme to supplement my work as a chess trainer. The goal is to present the student with the richness of chess as expounded by some of the best writers of this science/art game. The study of chess will enrich the lives of those who try to master its intricacies. Remember that sixty percent of your time must be practice.
